Tax receipts are issued for all donations of $20.00 or more.

Introducing our fourth annual fundraising campaign, “Threads of Warmth,” launched on 10th November,2025

Thank you for your previous support of The Crochet Club of London, whether it be financial donations, material donations or attending our fundraising sales.

We are very pleased to announce that the year ending Sept 30th, 2025 was another record year for blanket donations. We donated 1539 blankets to our agencies – an increase of 12.5% over last year. Really amazing work everyone, give yourself a round of applause!

However, a record number of blankets requires a great amount of yarn. We need your help again to raise funds for 2025/2026 so we can continue this amazing output and ensure that the agencies we support can provide blankets to the community.

Luckily with the amount of yarn donations we have received this year, we are able to maintain our annual Fundraising goal at $10,000. We are asking for donations, of any amount, from members, friends, and family.

The “Threads of Warmth” campaign is running from October 1st, 2025 until September 30th, 2026. We will issue tax receipts for donations of $20 and over. We will track progress towards the $10,000 goal in the Crochet Club monthly newsletter, accessible on our website at www.crochetclub.ca.


Ways to Donate:

  1. Our preferred method is by e-transfer to crochetcluboflondon@gmail.com. Please include your street address in the message box or sent in a separate email so that we can send you a tax receipt.**
  2. By cheque made payable to ‘The Crochet Club of London’. Please mail your cheque to Sian Roberts, 155 Duchess Ave., London, ON, N6C 1N8.**
  3. Through Canada Helps with your credit card at this  link:   https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/16360?v1=true Please note that if you choose this option, Canada Helps retains a small percentage as a processing fee.

**Where possible tax receipts will be emailed – a cost saving initiative for the club and ensuring receipt with the delays caused by the Canada Post rotating strikes.

Tax receipts for members purchasing their own yarn.

Effective July 1, 2022 Income Tax (In Kind) receipts are offered to members who purchase yarn to make blankets for the Club – please note, there is no monetary reimbursement for these purchases. Forms to submit receipts are available at meetings or through Contact Us to request a form.
